The Winter Session of the Indian Parliament will take place from November 25 to December 20, 2024. During this session, several key legislative matters are expected to be discussed. These include the contentious One Nation, One Election proposal and the Waqf Amendment Bill.
The government plans to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the adoption of the Indian Constitution on November 26, 2024, with a special event in the Central Hall of Samvidhan Sadan. This celebration will coincide with Constitution Day.
However, political discussions are anticipated to be charged, with the opposition likely to raise objections to the government’s proposals. The One Nation, One Election plan, which seeks to synchronize national and state elections, is expected to face significant opposition.
